Save our Forests

So, one of the things we wanted to highlight to you this week is the “Save our Forests” Campaign.

The government is getting ready for a huge sell-off of our national forests to private firms. This could mean ancient woodlands are chopped down and destroyed.

But they need to push new laws through Parliament before these plans can go ahead. That means we have time to stop them.

The campaign to “save our forests” is growing fast! with 83,000 people signing the petition. Hundreds of people have downloaded posters and leaflets from the save our forests action centre to sound the alarm.

Tens of thousands of people have  told our friends about the campaign. Now groups are springing up across the country to fight the forest sell off.
